Maggie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Marketing major from Northeastern University.  She joined the practice in June of 2021. Maggie is responsible for overall coordination of a broad range of services and resources that allow the organization to operate efficiently. In general, Maggie is the “Go to” person. 

​

Previously, Maggie sold Real Estate in New Jersey.  She was also Sales Administration Manger for Liz Claiborne Cosmetics.

Maggie is the Varsity field hockey coach for Albertus Magnus High School, and lives with her husband and three children in Pleasantville.

Marissa Kornblau, LCSWR

Marissa uses a strengths-based approach combined with the tenets of the Ackerman Relational Model and other disciplines, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to counsel adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families. She provides supportive therapy to people who are dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, professional challenges, infertility, and other health related issues, grief, loss, addiction, and more.  

 

Marissa worked at both The Child and Family Institute and at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NY, where she provided therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. She also worked at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (New York City) where she developed the essential skill of empathic engagement with clients.  Marissa founded a bi-monthly support group for people struggling with infertility, empowering them with knowledge, validating their emotional response, and minimizing their feelings of isolation.  

 

Marissa obtained her master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and trained at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, where she gained clinical expertise in couples and families.

 

Marissa lives in Westchester County, New York with her husband and three children.

Cheryl's focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their inner selves without fear of judgment. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more. She works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. Cheryl is a compassionate ally, a trusted confidant, and a guide who believes in each client's capacity to heal and thrive.

Cheryl is committed to empowering her clients to realize their true potential and to live fulfilling lives. Through a collaborative and personalized approach, she strives to help them uncover their inherent strength and resilience, guiding them on their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth.

Cheryl obtained her Master in Social Work degree from Yeshiva University, where she graduated with honors, following her undergraduate and law school studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical experience includes working at Westchester Jewish Community Services, where she gained expertise in helping individuals and families navigate a wide range of behavioral health challenges.
